Volleyball Recap: Burlingame Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Burlingame, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Aragon Dons on Wednesday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Dons recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Burlingame had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-22, 25-14, 25-15.

Reiter Madden paced Burlingame's offense, picking up 13 kills. Madden got some help from Cole Ng and his 37 assists. Madden was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Burlingame's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-6. As for Aragon, they moved to 14-16 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Burlingame wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-2 win against San Mateo on the 2nd. As for Aragon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Hillsdale on the 2nd.
