Football Recap: California Military Institute Rough Riders vs. Hamilton Bobcats
California Military Institute had lost six straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 0-9 to make it seven. They lost to the Hamilton Bobcats on the road by a 31-14 margin. The Rough Riders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.
Despite the loss, California Military Institute saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Miguel Vega picked up two sacks and made seven total tackles. David Kamau really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 74 yards.
