Baseball Recap: First Baptist Christian Academy Find Success

First Baptist Christian Academy won the last time they faced Warner Christian Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The First Baptist Christian Academy Crusaders walked away with an 11-6 victory over the Warner Christian Academy Eagles.

Ryan Busler made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing Four bases. while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

In other batting news, Brendan Calderon was excellent, scoring two runs while going 3-for-5. Another player making a difference was Jacoby Hurry, who scored a run and stole Two bases.

First Baptist Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Warner Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. First Baptist Christian Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Central Florida Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on March 24th. As for Warner Christian Academy, they will take on Calvary Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
