Soccer Recap: Seton Comes Up Short

Seton lost against Trinity Christian back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Conquistadors lost 7-0 to the Gryphons. While losing is never fun, Seton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 190th, while Trinity Christian are ranked 13th).

Seton's loss dropped their record down to 1-9-3. As for Trinity Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That somehow still isn't as good as their 10-1-2 record this season.

Seton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Trinity Christian, they will welcome Fredericksburg Christian at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
