Basketball Game Preview: Preston Indians vs. Pocatello Thunder

Preston and Pocatello are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2021, but not for long. The Preston Indians will be playing at home against the Pocatello Thunder at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Last Wednesday, Preston came up short against Hillcrest and fell 40-32. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Pocatello put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Madison 52-50. 52 seems to be a good number for the Thunder as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Pocatello pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.1 points per game. As for Preston, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
