Basketball Recap: South Pontotoc Takes a Loss + How To Watch

South Pontotoc lost against Shannon back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cougars lost to the Red Raiders on the road by a 52-38 margin. The loss leaves the Cougars still looking for their first win of the season.

South Pontotoc's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Shannon, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, South Pontotoc will face off against Oxford at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Shannon, they will be playing at home against Louisville at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday.
