Longview Christian took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the East Texas Homeschool Sports Chargers. This was payback for Longview Christian, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Longview Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-13, 25-22, 25-17.

East Texas Homeschool Sports' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Longview Christian will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Trinity School of Texas at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for East Texas Homeschool Sports, they will face off against Tyler HEAT at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tyler HEAT will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something East Texas Homeschool Sports surely won't give up without a fight.
