Basketball Recap: Kankakee Valley Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Kankakee Valley put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Hammond Bishop Noll Warriors by a score of 76-69.

Kankakee Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brady Sampson led the charge by going 10 for 17 on his way to 31 points and eight rebounds. The game was Sampson's third in a row with at least ten points. Bobby Lalonde was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 22 points and nine assists.

Kankakee Valley's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Hammond Bishop Noll, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2.

Kankakee Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 48-42 win against Morgan Township on the 7th. As for Hammond Bishop Noll, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 61-59 loss against Calumet New Tech on the 7th.
