Soccer Game Preview: Decatur vs. Easton + Official Tickets

The Decatur Seahawks are taking a road trip to take on the Easton Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Decatur's defense has only allowed 0.1 goals per game this season, so Easton's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Decatur is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Maryland's top teams: Parkside, who was ranked 13th at the time (Decatur was ranked seventh). The Seahawks' defense stepped up to hand the Rams a 1-0 shutout on Monday. Give Decatur's defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Easton). They put the hurt on Cambridge-South Dorchester with a sharp 13-0 win on Wednesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Easton considering their one-goal performance the match before.

Decatur's record is now 8-0. As for Easton, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 3-4.

Decatur was able to grind out a solid win over Easton in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 4-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Seahawks since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
