Volleyball Recap: Tri County Beats Cross County for Their Fourth Straight Win

Tri County had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Cross County Cougars. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Olive Clark paced Tri County's offense, picking up 14 kills. Clark got some help from Macey Gronemeyer and her 17 assists. Alaina Kopf controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Cross County's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ella Cramer, who had 13 digs and four assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Finley Peterson, who had ten digs.

Tri County's win bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Cross County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-7 record this season.

Tri County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against St. Cecilia on the 2nd. As for Cross County, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Superior on the 2nd.
