Volleyball Recap: Westside Picks Up 14th Straight Win at Home

There's no place like home for Westside, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Blytheville Chickasaws on Monday as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Westside took every set by at least 18 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-7, 25-7.

Macy Milner paced Westside's offense, picking up ten kills. Milner got some help from Mattyx Cureton and her 30 assists. Cureton also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Vada Watkins, each putting up seven.

Westside's victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 23-4-2. As for Blytheville, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.
