Baseball Recap: GREEN Upstate Comes Up Short

GREEN Upstate's last matchup with Dixie could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Friday. The GREEN Upstate Owls came up short against the Dixie Hornets, falling 15-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-3 last Tuesday.

GREEN Upstate's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Dixie, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. GREEN Upstate will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ware Shoals at 6:00 p.m. on April 15th. As for Dixie, they will face off against Mid-Carolina at 5:00 p.m. on March 21st.
