Softball Recap: Portsmouth Christian Academy Eagles vs. Epping Blue Devils
It was a good run, but Portsmouth Christian Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They lost 9-2 to the Epping Blue Devils. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest runs Portsmouth Christian Academy has scored all season.
Lexi Jordan was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She didn't allow a single earned run over 5.1 innings pitched. Jordan was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Portsmouth Christian Academy's loss ended a 14-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-2. As for Epping, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
