Hendersonville extended their winning streak to three on Monday, bumping them up to 3-0. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Asheville Cougars 77-35. The Bearcats pushed the score to 55-29 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cougars had little chance of recovering from.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hendersonville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mateo Archer, who went 8-for-12 on his way to 16 points. Archer is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last six games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Jordan Wynn, who shot 63% from the field to rack up 15 points and three steals.

Hendersonville was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Asheville only racked up four.

As for Asheville, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.2 points over those games.

Cam Lattimore and Tae Trantham certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Lattimore posted eight points and six boards, while Trantham put up nine points.

Hendersonville has already played their next matchup, a 72-70 loss against North Henderson on the 25th. Hopefully Asheville paid attention to the Bearcats' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Bearcats at 8:15 p.m. on the 3rd.
