Baseball Recap: Izard County Cougars vs. Highland Rebels
Izard County lost against Highland back in April of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Izard County Cougars wound up on the wrong side of a tough 17-1 walloping at the hands of the Highland Rebels. It was the first time this season that Izard County let down their fans at home.
For Highland's part, they got a massive performance out of Hayden Hyslip, who went 2-for-2 with five RBI, three runs, and a triple. Zac Huckabee was another key contributor, going 3-for-4 with four RBI and a triple.
Izard County's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-5. As for Highland, their victory bumped their record up to 16-5.
