Heuvelton Central scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They walked away with a 61-53 victory over Potsdam. That looming 61-53 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Heuvelton Central yet this season.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 79-46, which was the final score in Northeastern Clinton's tilt against Beekmantown on Wednesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Northeastern Clinton has scored all season.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Jordan Brown, who scored 16 points. He scored a full 34.8% of Northeastern Clinton's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Max Rabideau was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Heuvelton Central's victory bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Northeastern Clinton, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
