Softball Recap: Beulah Bobcats vs. Glenwood Gators
Beulah posted their closest victory since May 9, 2024 on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 13-12 win over the Glenwood Gators. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bobcats.
Maci Wingo made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over 5.1 innings pitched. Furthermore, she didn't allow a single earned run, the first time she has blanked an opponent since back in May of 2024. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in five of her seven plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kyleigh Morgan, who went 3-for-6 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Charlee Burgess was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her seven plate appearances.
Beulah's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Glenwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.
