Baseball Recap: Bucktail Takes a Loss

Bucktail lost against Muncy back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bucks lost 13-3 to the Indians. The Bucks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bucktail saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Keller Friese, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two triples, two RBI, and one run. Those RBI were Friese's first of the season. Another was Nick Dennis, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Bucktail's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Muncy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Bucktail is set to square off against their familiar foe Benton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Muncy will face off against rival Millville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
