Canyon View extended their winning streak to 15 on Thursday, bumping their season record up to 26-4 in the process. They blew past the Buckeye Hawks 19-1. The Jaguars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 18 games by six runs or more this season.
Cason Hagerman looked comfortable as he pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Brock Berlan was incredible, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Rolando Valles, who went 1-for-3 with three runs and one RBI.
Canyon View always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .636. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Buckeye only posted an OBP of .308.
