Powdersville's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Easley Green Wave as the Powdersville Patriots made off with a 14-1 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Patriots considering their one-run performance the game before.
Kylie Powell made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Powdersville got a massive performance out of Kensley Vicars, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and one triple. That's the most runs Vicars has posted since back in March of 2024. Bree Woods was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one home run and five RBI.
Powdersville lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
