Loveland Classical skates past Rocky Mountain Lutheran with ease

In what's become a running theme this season, the Loveland Classical Lions gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 83-29 victory over Rocky Mountain Lutheran on the road. Loveland Classical's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Leading Loveland Classical to victory were Caedon Meyer and Luke Sainz. Meyer scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and five steals, while Sainz dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten steals. Sainz is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jackson Jensen, who scored nine points along with three steals.

Despite the defeat, Rocky Mountain Lutheran had strong showings from Gavin Borchardt, who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds and five blocks, and Blake Harris, who scored 11 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Harris has scored all season.

Loveland Classical pushed their record up to 9-0 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 43 points. As for Rocky Mountain Lutheran, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Loveland Classical won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Windsor Charter Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 12th. Windsor Charter Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 448 points over their last seven contests. As for Rocky Mountain Lutheran, they will be playing at home against Victory Prep Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
