Basketball Game Preview: Neville Tigers vs. Wossman Wildcats

The Neville Tigers are taking a road trip to square off against the Wossman Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

It was a proper cat-fight when Neville took on Sterlington on Thursday. The Tigers strolled past the Panthers with points to spare, taking the game 59-40. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Wossman, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against Oak Grove by a score of 60-49 on Saturday.

Wossman now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Neville, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Everything came up roses for Neville against Wossman in their previous matchup back in December of 2020, as the team secured a 75-23 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
