Preview: Twiggs County vs. Macon County
Macon County have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will challenge Twiggs County on the road at 7:30 PM on Friday. Macon County have the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.
Macon County didn't finish too far behind, but the team still lost 8-14 to Southwest two weeks ago. Macon County's defeat came about despite a quality game from sophomore Devion Clark, who rushed for 151 yards and 1 touchdown.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-42, which was the final score in Twiggs County's tilt against Warren County last week.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the win. Neither squad could put together much of an offensive attack, so expect every point to count.
