Basketball Recap: Cusick Takes a Loss

Cusick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 43-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northport Mustangs. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 60-38 to the Mustangs when the teams met back in January, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cusick's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Northport, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cusick is set to take on their familiar foe Selkirk at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Northport will square off against rival Inchelium at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
