Baseball Recap: Friday's Defeat Ends Seattle Christian's Winning Streak

After soaring to 20 runs the game before, Seattle Christian was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cascade Christian Cougars. The contest marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Eli Messer was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched six innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off six hits.

At the plate, Seattle Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braden Scott, who went 1-for-3 with one run. That run was Scott's first of the season.
