After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Patrick County, Floyd County was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Martinsville Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Buffaloes in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won six in a row.

Floyd County's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Martinsville, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. After both having extra time off, Floyd County and James River will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
