Basketball Recap: Seneca Comes Up Short

Seneca was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 58-39 bruising from the Nevada Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 428th, while the Tigers are ranked 193rd).

Seneca's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Nevada, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-6.

Seneca has already played their next game (against Diamond), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Nevada will venture away from home to take on Monett at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
