Volleyball Recap: Sheridan Comes Up Short

Sheridan was the 3-1 winner over Central when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Broncs fell just short of the Indians by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. While the Broncs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Indians 25-20 in the first set.

Sheridan started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 18-28, 25-17, 25-22, 15-9.

When it comes to explaining why Sheridan lost, don't look at Allyson Roe. Despite the final result, she had 17 digs and five aces. Roe has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Sheridan's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Central, their victory bumped their record up to 10-13.

Sheridan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Laramie on the 17th. As for Central, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against East on the 15th.
