Baseball Recap: Muldrow Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Muskogee, Muldrow was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They never let the Roland Rangers get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Rangers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Jace Prewitt was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Chris Ware also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Muldrow was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .455. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Muldrow's win bumped their record up to 8-15. As for Roland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-21.

Muldrow does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Roland, they will challenge Fort Gibson at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
