Basketball Game Preview: Puget Sound Adventist Sharks vs. Crosspoint Christian Wildcats

The Puget Sound Adventist Sharks will challenge the Crosspoint Christian Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Puget Sound Adventist and three for Crosspoint Christian.

On Saturday, Puget Sound Adventist had to suffer through a 75-28 loss at the hands of Loma Linda Academy. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Sharks came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 328th in Washington, while the Roadrunners are ranked 670th in California).

Meanwhile, Crosspoint Christian ended up a good deal behind Evergreen Lutheran on Saturday and lost 71-56.

Crosspoint Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Puget Sound Adventist, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.

Everything came up roses for Puget Sound Adventist against Crosspoint Christian when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 66-34 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Puget Sound Adventist since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
