The Peachtree Academy Panthers will head out on the road to challenge the Trinity Prep Lions at 7:30 p.m. Peachtree Academy will be strutting in after a victory while Trinity Prep will be coming in after a loss.
Last Friday, Peachtree Academy strolled past Providence Classical Christian with points to spare, taking the game 53-37. The win made it back-to-back wins for Peachtree Academy.
It was another big night for Noah Rodriguez, who scored ten points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Nate Occilien-Similien, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds.
Trinity Prep suffered their biggest defeat since November 18, 2023 on Monday. They were dealt a 89-50 defeat at the hands of Furtah Prep. Trinity Prep has struggled against Furtah Prep recently, as their match on Monday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Peachtree Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Trinity Prep, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.
Peachtree Academy was taken down by Trinity Prep 80-45 when the teams last played back in January of 2023. Can Peachtree Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
