Northside Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maddie Coker, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 10 rebounds. Coker is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Natalie Walke, who scored 18 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals.
Mead Hall Episcopal School's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Northside Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 1-2.
Mead Hall Episcopal School will head out on the road to face off against Curtis Baptist at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northside Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Horse Creek Academy at 6:00 p.m.
