Liberty can bid farewell to their three-match losing streak thanks to their match on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Nicholas County Grizzlies, sneaking past 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Liberty had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-18, 15-5.

Liberty's win bumped their record up to 22-11-3. As for Nicholas County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-29-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Liberty and Nicholas County will both be playing Bluefield the next time they take the court. The Grizzlies will head out to face the Beavers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Raiders will play them later in the day, at 9:00 p.m.
