Bellingham entered their tilt with Norwood on Friday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Blackhawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Bellingham won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-7, 26-24.

Val Nolan paced Bellingham's offense, picking up 14 kills. Nolan got some help from Jacobi Houston and her 13 assists. Sophia Soto controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Bellingham's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Norwood, they dropped their record down to 5-7 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Bellingham wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Millis on the 6th. As for Norwood, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Ashland on the 6th.
