The Hightstown Rams will face off against the Ewing Blue Devils at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Hightstown has seven straight victories, Ewing has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Thursday, Hightstown made easy work of Princeton and carried off a 16-5 win. Considering the Rams have won five games by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Dominick Terranova tossed a big game, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Hightstown got a massive performance out of Daniel Krier, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those three RBI gave Krier a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Stables, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs and one double.
Hightstown always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .634. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Allentown hit Ewing with a six-run fourth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Blue Devils came up short against the Redbirds, falling 14-5.
Jake Mignogna made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Hightstown's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Ewing, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.
Hightstown skirted past Ewing 6-4 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Do the Rams have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blue Devils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
