Soccer Recap: Ridgway Comes Up Short

Ridgway and Denver Christian squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Ridgway had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Thunder. The contest was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Ridgway struggled afterwards.

Ridgway's loss dropped their record down to 8-4-3. As for Denver Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5-1 record this season.

Ridgway does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Denver Christian, they will welcome Flatirons Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Denver Christian's defense better be ready for this one: Flatirons Academy have averaged an impressive 4.9 goals per game this season.
