Blue Valley North put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the O'Gorman Knights a 16-0 shutout.

Trey Weixeldorfer looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Evan Bellm, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Gavin Dilley, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Blue Valley North always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .704. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as O'Gorman only posted an OBP of .231.

Blue Valley North pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 10.0 runs this season. As for O'Gorman, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Blue Valley North is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Edmond North at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for O'Gorman, they will face off against Lincoln at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
