Berkner entered their tilt with MacArthur on Tuesday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They managed a 63-57 win over the MacArthur Cardinals. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 195th, while the Cardinals are ranked 784th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Berkner's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for MacArthur, they dropped their record down to 4-11 with the loss, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Berkner will be home for the holidays to greet Lake Highlands at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Berkner knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 matchups -- so hopefully Lake Highlands likes a good challenge. As for MacArthur, they will head out on the road to square off against Dallas Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
