Volleyball Recap: Oakland Mills Comes Up Short

Oakland Mills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Hammond Golden Bears. The Scorpions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Golden Bears earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Oakland Mills' defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Hammond, with the win, they broke their eight-match losing streak and moved their record to 2-9.

Oakland Mills didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Howard on the 14th. As for Hammond, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Reservoir on the 14th.
