Contreras has been away from home for four games now, but on Wednesday they'll finally make their return. They will welcome the Mendez Jaguars at 4:00 p.m.

Contreras took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-23, 20-25, 16-25, 25-14, 15-8.
Meanwhile, Mendez had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. Everything went their way against the Sheiks as they made off with a 3-0 win.
Mendez was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-8, 25-21.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mendez to victory, but perhaps none more so than Michelle Leon, who had five aces, three kills, and 18 assists. That's the most aces Leon has posted in her last six matches. The team also got some help courtesy of Rosa Bautista, who had five aces.
Contreras dropped their record down to 5-7 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Mendez, their victory bumped their record up to 14-2.
