The La Vega Pirates are taking a road trip to square off against the Connally Cadets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (La Vega has three straight victories, Connally has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Thursday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, La Vega beat Robinson 31-27.
