Soccer Recap: Holy Name Plays to a Tie

Neither the Holy Name Green Wave nor the Berea-Midpark Titans could gain the upper hand on Saturday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Owen Pry and Matthew Skonieczny scored both of Holy Name's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Holy Name's draw gives them a new season record of 2-5-2. As for Berea-Midpark, they moved theirs to 1-4-3.

Looking ahead, Holy Name will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Elyria at 7:00 p.m. Holy Name will be up against Elyria's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.44 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Berea-Midpark, they will venture away from home to square off against North Ridgeville at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
