Volleyball Recap: Wimberley Takes a Loss

It was a good run, but Wimberley unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Salado Eagles by a score of 2-1. The Texans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Wimberley's defeat dropped their record down to 13-4. As for Salado, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wimberley will take on Legacy Ranch at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Salado, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Troy at 7:00 p.m. on September 2.
