Grosse Ile and St. Mary Catholic Central are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Red Devils will venture away from home to take on the Falcons/Kestrels at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Grosse Ile is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for St. Mary Catholic Central's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 3-0 to Central, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Falcons/Kestrels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Grosse Ile's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for St. Mary Catholic Central, the defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 6-2.

Grosse Ile couldn't quite get it done against St. Mary Catholic Central when the teams last played back in May of 2024 as they fell 11-7. Can the Red Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
