Northside came tearing into Saturday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Thomasville Tigers.

Caroline Jones was excellent, going 1-for-2 with three RBI and one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that she snagged this season. Another player making a difference was Brayden Billings, who scored two runs and stole a base.

Northside's win bumped their record up to 20-11-1. As for Thomasville, the defeat snapped their winning streak at nine games and leaves them with a 24-6 record.

Coming up, Northside will square off against Hillcrest at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Thomasville, they will take on Millry at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
