Softball Recap: Coleman Cougars vs. Hancock Bulldogs
The third road matchup was the charm for Coleman, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They walked away with a 13-9 win over the Hancock Bulldogs on Saturday. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 6-4 victory the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Alyssa Kurth was incredible, going a perfect 5-for-5 with six RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Macy Nowak, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
Coleman picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 5-3. As for Hancock, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
Coincidentally, Coleman and Hancock will both be playing Niagara the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will host the Badgers at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Cougars will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
