Carver High School of Engineering & Science is headed into Monday's game hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They lost to Constitution on the road by a 55-41 margin on Thursday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Science Leadership Academy at Beeber). They put the hurt on String Theory with a sharp 68-47 win on Thursday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Rockets as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Science Leadership Academy at Beeber's win came from a few key players Carver High School of Engineering & Science will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Drew Holland, who posted 18 points. His afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aziz Collins, who earned 16 points.

Science Leadership Academy at Beeber's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Carver High School of Engineering & Science, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.

Carver High School of Engineering & Science was able to grind out a solid victory over Science Leadership Academy at Beeber in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, winning 53-44.
