Baseball Recap: Berean Christian Triumphs

After only one run in their last matchup, Berean Christian made sure to put some runs up on the board against St. Helena on Saturday. The Berean Christian Eagles' pitchers stepped up to hand the St. Helena Saints a 10-0 shutout. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Saints recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Luke Upshaw, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Max McTighe, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Berean Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.

The win got Berean Christian back to even at 1-1. As for St. Helena, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2.
