Basketball Recap: Fosston Comes Up Short

Fosston lost against Cass Lake-Bena back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Fosston Greyhounds took a 58-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cass Lake-Bena Panthers.

Fosston's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Cass Lake-Bena, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fosston will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal at 7:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Cass Lake-Bena and Mountain Iron-Buhl will round out the year against one another at at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. Mountain Iron-Buhl will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Cass Lake-Bena surely won't give up without a fight.
