Wilcox Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Greensboro Raiders 46-14. The Jaguars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 26-0.

Wilcox Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Greensboro, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-3.

Wilcox Central and Greensboro could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings. The Jaguars (ranked 405th) will meet Southside (ranked 149th) at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. Meanwhile, Greensboro will square off against Thorsby at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th with a big rank disadvantage (347 vs. 154).
